E29.1: Peak-Finding for the Double-Slit Experiment

The file double-slit-data-noisy.txt contains the intensity of the light signal measured on a screen as a function of distance, y, perpendicular to the original light beam (see Figure 29.6 in the book). The screen is a distance \(D = 10\;\mathrm{cm}\) from the light source, which is monochromatic with a wavelength \(\lambda = 512\;\mathrm{nm}\).
